Whether you’re looking for a deep relaxation massage, or a more targeted massage with a focus on a specific area of discomfort, Mimi’s massage is intended to meet your needs. Mimi honors each client’s wishes for their session and treats each session and individual as unique. Mimi’s uses several techniques in her therapeutic massage including manipulation, holding, stretching and isolating the soft tissues of the body, long sweeping strokes that increase blood flow to promote relaxation and well-being, as well as trigger point release, reflexology and passive stretching. SERVICES - Yoga
Mimi teaches Hatha Yoga in which she incorporates Pranayama (breathing techniques), Centering (connecting the body/mind/breath) Asana (poses and postures) and Vinyasa Flow (connecting the breath with the movement). About Me
Mimi has been practicing as a massage therapist since 2010. She received her massage education and certification through the Montana Institute of Massage Therapy in Billings Montana. She has studied several modalities including: Master Level II Reiki, Integrative Reflexology, Passive Release, Traditional Thai Massage, Integrative Shiatsu, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage. Mimi’s massage sessions incorporate several of these techniques’ depending on the needs and wishes of her clients. She is licensed in Montana and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
In addition to massage therapy, Mimi has been practicing yoga since 1988 and has been teaching since completing her 200 hour training in 2006. Mimi's practice is primarily Hatha Yoga in which she incorporates Pranayama (breathing techniques), Centering (connecting the body/mind/breath) Asana (poses and postures) and Vinyasa Flow (connecting the breath with the movement). Mimi brings humor and fun to her classes. Laughter and smiling are encouraged!
